I ran into my High School art teacher today. I still remember his classes and the solid foundation he helped me build up. I remembered when I went to college, I was way ahead of my peers in all things art because of my high school art teacher. All the fundamental and introductory courses I had in college were nothing more than a repetition of the training I had in high school.

We all called him hegs. I did today too.

I told him all about this. Told him about college and how much his classes have helped me. I shook his hand and said thank you. He even remembered my name.

He said I made his day. That made mine.
